About Victoria's Teaching

With 30 years of teaching experience Victoria is always glad to pass on her skills onto anyone who desires. From young talents, to experienced ones, Victoria has programs and classes to fit any study goal. While being a full time professor at the National Art Academy at Lviv, Ukraine, Victoria is also offering private classes and workshops.

Silk Painting

This course will provide participants with the basic techniques involved in creating stunning silk paintings and wearable art such as scarves and other pieces. You will learn about different types of silk and the preparation involved, the paints and resists used and how to create interesting effects.

Cold Batik

This course will provide participants with the techniques involved in creating stunning silk paintings and wearable art such as scarves and other pieces. You will learn about different types of silk and the preparation involved, the paints and resists used and how to create interesting effects. You will also learn elements of composition and batik techniques that will broaden your art skills and make your silk paintings more artistically effective.

Hot Batik

This course will provide participants with the technique of hot batik, also known as hot wax technique. You will learn history and origination of this ancient art form. Course will cover the multi step process involved in creating complex hot batik paintings, tricks and methods, materials, tools and their uses. While creating hot batik paintings, this academically trained artist will teach elements of composition most suitable for this art form.

Introduction and History of Batik

This theoretical course covers a history of batik and textile, various techniques used in different countries around the world, evolution and present development.
