Painting on Silk

The idea of this painting came to me after I accidently met on a street of my home city Lviv a lady walking on a leash her small decorative pig. My imagination added one more unexpected character to the painting… why not? Small crocodiles shall have the same rights as pigs! Women's whims have no boundaries, same as my series of “Women's Whims” artworks.
Composition of this ironic and fun painting has certain dynamism that may be noticed in the wind blowing the hat off the lady with crocodile, you may also feel a warm summer atmosphere of the painting.
This artwork is made with use of complicated author’s technique of batik and painting. This artwork is painted on the natural silk cloth with professional German silk paints, batik textile dyes, waxes, etc. (KREUL Javana). The paint is water based, has no smell, and is fade and wash resistant (after fixing).
