The pomegranate was opened, the juice is about to flow… There is certain drama is this braking of the perfect form. This is what I was trying to express – a drama when something perfect, created by the nature is being destroyed… This is an acrylic version of one of my earlier large batik works. A different technique allowed me to achieve even higher level expression by combining transparent and nontransparent layers of paint.
